Передача фокуса от родителя к потомкам в линейном макете

У меня есть вложенная серия линейных макетов в моем xml-коде. Я хочу, чтобы первый дочерний элемент родителя (также линейный макет) взял на себя фокус. Это произойдет, если я установлю для focusable значение true. Я также хотел бы передать фокус дочерним элементам этого макета (чтобы вызвать их списки состояний). Однако ничего из этого он не проходит » Сосредоточьтесь на своих детях, даже если они настроены на фокусировку. Есть идеи, как это сделать? Спасибо
