Проблемы с безопасным связыванием с Active Directory с использованием PHP

Кажется, я не могу использовать php для безопасного связывания с Active Directory. Незашифрованные соединения работают нормально. Используя другие клиенты могут безопасно связываться, например подключение с помощью LDAPAdmin через SSL. В чем проблема? Есть ли какой-то модуль SSL LDAP, который мне не хватает? Как безопасно подключиться к серверу с помощью php?

Я заметил из phpinfo () , что cURL поддерживает ldap / ldaps - каков хороший пример использования этого для выполнения безопасного связывания в php? Это жизнеспособный обходной путь?

И у меня есть исправление /etc/ldap.conf с 'TLS_REQCERT never' - хотя это исправление предназначен для другой ошибки, что дает довольно четкое сообщение об ошибке.
