Slice. Он работает как нотация массива Python.

 "string"[start:end:step]

Во многих других языках тоже есть что-то подобное. string.Slice (1) эквивалентен string.Substring (1) . string.Substring (1, -1) обрезает первый и последний символы. string.Substring (null, null, -1) перевернет строку. string.Substring (step: 2) вернет строку со всеми остальными символами ... также похожую на фрагмент JS , но с дополнительным аргументом.
