Программная клавиатура изменяет размер фонового изображения на Android

Всякий раз, когда появляется программная клавиатура, она изменяет размер фонового изображения. Смотрите скриншот ниже:

Как вы можете видеть, фон как бы сжат. Кто-нибудь может пролить свет на то, почему фон изменяет размер?
