Джерси: список объектов JSON

Я пытаюсь получить в своем классе ресурсов реализации в Джерси коллекцию сообщений таких объектов: 

@POST
@Path("/send")
@Consumes({ MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON })
@Produces({ MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON })
public String sendEmails(ArrayList<AnyEmail> email) {
    //emailManager.sendEmail(email);
    return "success";
}

У меня есть @XmlRootElement выше `AnyEmail.

Однако, когда я публикую подобное с помощью клиентского инструмента REST: 

 emails : [
       {"body": "Testing the web service", "header": "Hi", "footer": "<br/>test"},
       {"body": "Testing the web service", "header": "Hi", "footer": "<br/>test"}
      ]

я получаю:

Теперь я попробовал: 

 "emails" : [

          ]

и получил:
