Исключение Null reference при генерации url методом UrlHelper.Action

По какой-то причине, когда некоторые боты посещают сайт, генерация url с помощью метода UrlHelper.Action вызывает исключение null из System.Web.HttpServerVarsCollection.Get. Я провел отладку, и стек вызовов начинается с попытки получить 'HTTP_X_ORIGINAL_URL' из коллекции HttpContextBase.Request.ServerVariables.

Если я захожу по тому же адресу напрямую из браузера - никаких проблем. Страница является серверной, ошибка не регистрируется. Похоже, что это происходит только при посещении ботом.

Не уверен, что это имеет отношение к делу, но сайт был только что перенесен на IIS 7.5. Все еще используется .NET 2.0 в интегрированном режиме.

Если посмотреть на код в том виде, в котором его развернул Reflector, то единственное место, где может возникнуть исключение null непосредственно в методе Get - это вызов this._request.FetchServerVariables. Как будто весь запрос не был настроен должным образом.

Кто-нибудь еще сталкивался с этой проблемой или нашел обходной путь? Почему запрос может быть настроен по-другому при посещении ботом?

UPDATE: Дополнительная отладка показала, что коллекция HttpServerVarsCollection была удалена вместе с родительским объектом HttpRequest. Теперь вопрос в том, как можно раскрыть объект Request, возвращаемый HttpContext.Current, до завершения запроса?
