Математика для определения индекса элемента на основе столбца / row selection in grid

Я и 2 человека пытались выяснить, какой должна быть простая формула. У меня есть сетка, в которой может быть переменное количество столбцов и строк. Когда пользователь нажимает на одну из ячеек, я должен определить, какой «индекс» был нажат, на основе столбца / строки. Индексы начинаются с 0 и идут слева направо, затем сверху вниз. Нет фиксированных столбцов / строк.

Итак, если есть 3 столбца, и пользователь щелкает по C2 / R1, тогда ему необходимо разрешить индекс 5. В этом примере все индексы начинаются с 0.

Моя текущая формула, которая далека от работы, выглядит так:

Благодаря приведенному ниже ответу я исправил это. Сначала я подумал, что формула неверна, но, изучив больше кода, я обнаружил, что в другом месте он неправильно перебирает строки и столбцы. Вот как это должно работать ...
