Как отлаживать исключение NullReferenceException в PresentationFramework?

В моем приложении .NET 4 используется WPF TreeView, который я улучшил, например, чтобы включить навигацию с клавиатуры и отложенную загрузку. Моя проблема заключается в том, что очень редко возникает исключение, показанное ниже. Это случилось со мной только один раз за несколько месяцев разработки, и у меня есть отчеты об ошибках от нескольких клиентов, которые тоже время от времени получают это. Это настолько редко, что я не могу что-то изменить, немного поиграться с приложением и узнать, исчезла проблема или нет.
