npm не может найти package.json

Я пытаюсь установить зависимости для некоторого примера: npm's express 2.5.8 , который я скачал, но все приложения выдают ту же ошибку :

Блокировка выглядит так:

нет такого файла или каталога 'c: \ node \ stylus \ package.json

Я пропустил шаг, который создает package.json ?

Я использую:

• 64-разрядная версия Windows 7
• npm 1.1.1
• узел 6.11
• express 2.5.8
