Кернинг UILabel по умолчанию отличается от CATextLayer

У меня есть UILabelсо строкой 'LA'. У меня также есть CATextLayerс теми же символами в NSAttributedString, которые назначены его свойству string. Кернинг в UILabelзаметно отличается от CATextLayer. Вот код.

Почему кернинг этих двух методов отличается и что я делаю неправильно в примере CATextLayer?
