Как построить график только для будних дней, используя подсвечник Python matplotlib?

Мне не удается построить график matplotlib.finance.candlestick без выходных (пробелы между каждыми 5 свечами). Пример с веб-сайта Matplotlibтакже не исключает выходные, и способ исключения выходных на других графиках, похоже, не применим к CandleSticks.

Кто-нибудь уже сталкивался с этим?
