бог не останавливает единорога

Я запускаю единорога с помощью god -c unicorn.god -D -p 8081и мои рабочие настроены нормально. но иногда мне нужно остановить единорога (God Stop Unicorn -p 8081в другой консоли), но сервер продолжает работать.
что мне не хватает?

Мы переходим от единорога к пуме (не потому что этот вопрос, это вопрос производительности), и больше не будем использовать бога... спасибо всем за вашу помощь
