Каким образом человек dput () может получить объект S4? Я пробовал это

require(sp)
require(splancs)
plot(0, 0, xlim = c(-100, 100), ylim = c(-100, 100))
poly.d <- getpoly() #draw a pretty polygon - PRETTY!
poly.d <- rbind(poly.d, poly.d[1,]) # close the polygon because of Polygons() and its kin
poly.d <- SpatialPolygons(list(Polygons(list(Polygon(poly.d)), ID = 1)))
poly.d
dput(poly.d)

. Обратите внимание, что если я dput () объект S4, я не смогу восстановить его снова. Ваши мысли?

В настоящее время вы не можете dput этот объект. Код dput содержит следующий цикл:

        dput(slot(x, n), file = file, control = control)
    }

Он рекурсивно обрабатывает объекты S4, но полагается на предположение, что объект S3 не будет содержать объект S4, что в вашем примере не выполняется:

> isS4(slot(poly.d,'polygons'))
[1] FALSE
> isS4(slot(poly.d,'polygons')[[1]])
[1] TRUE

Изменить: Вот способ обхода ограничений dput . Он работает для приведенного вами примера, но я не думаю, что он будет работать в целом (например, он не обрабатывает атрибуты).
