Ответ на оба вопроса - «Да».

I Я специалист по Java, поэтому две недели назад меня попросили:

  • Написать собственное приложение для iPhone

Я успешно реализовал, используя решение EC в качестве отправной точки. Единственное, что я бы добавил, это то, что вам действительно нужно уделять внимание тому, чтобы одновременно выполнялся только один запрос. В нашей реализации процесс аутентификации запутался бы при одновременном выполнении нескольких асинхронных запросов. Мне показалось, что использование NSOperation для регулирования очереди отлично работает.
